This is an event to celebrate the diversity within our community. We will be highlighting the amazing talent we have within our LGBTI community. This will be through market stalls - including candler makers, drum maker, massage therapist, photographers, jeweller, art glass, and performances by The Dreamtime Divas, drumming presentations, and singers.
This is a family event with numerous activities to participate in ...Colouring in competitions, rainbow jewellery making, photograph opportunities, etc. Free BBQ lunch provided.
Our regular monthly meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month, to discuss upcoming projects and where we want to focus our attention for the next while.
Everyone with a passion for helping young people with mental health/diversity issues are always welcome to attend.
We could always use more input.
Once again Baylin's Gift will be running this years World Suicide Prevention Day on Sunday 10th September from 10am til 1pm.
This year we aim to acknowledge and remember those we have lost to suicide, those who have attempted suicide and also those who are suicidal. This event is also for those wishing to simply raise awareness and provide support on such an important topic.
We will be holding a free BBQ, lighting LED candles for those we've lost to suicide, holding a short walk of remembrance, having some amazing guest speakers, including Adam Williams the recently awarded Best Photographer of NSW.
We are also very lucky this year to have some local organisations join us with resources that promote locally accessible programs. This includes Lifeline, Key Employment, Ability Links and Standby Suicide Response. We are grateful to these organisations for promoting awareness and encouraging support within our community. Well done.
We encourage anyone wanting to support others around suicide and mental illness to come along on the day. You're most welcome.
We are very lucky to be given the opportunity to be the recipient of a McFamily Fun Night at Kempsey McDonald's on 5th September from 5:30-7:30.
There'll be lots on instore and we'd love to see you there.
Big thank you to the Management of McDonald's for your continued support.

Loving the extra markets over the holiday period.
New Baylin's Gift bracelets are here. Still selling our tie dye shirts and bags.
Small children's shirts will be ready by mid January. A lot of people have been asking for those. Also tie dye socks. And a new range of jute bags for those not wanting to rock a tie dye one.
A big thank you must go out to the committee of these markets as they offer us a site for free because we are a charity. This is very generous and saves us heaps. Thank you.
We'll be at the Kempsey Riverside Markets again this month. We are hoping to make this a regular occurrence. So you'll know where we will always be.
Don't forget we always bring along 1 or 2 comfort boxes if you feel this is something that may benefit you. Just come up and speak to one of our friendly team.
We also have our bracelets with the new logo.
Always know that anything you spend with us stays here to help our kids. It does not go anywhere else. Ever. Our kids are important to us. They are our focus.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
We'll be attending this amazing market again this month.
We are hoping to make it a permanent one for us. So if you see us there make sure you come say hello and check out our merchandise.
Remember that all money we raise always stays right here in our local community. That is very important to us. So your support is very valuable. And we thank you.
WE will be attending with our shirts, bags and other merchandise.
We are lucky enough to have the attendance of Mon with The Golden Oldies. We will also be selling her amazing story books for children. These books have won literary awards. They send out good messages to children. Great for xmas. Mon has very generously agreed to donate $5 from every book sold to The Baylin Hoskins Foundation.
Look forward to seeing you there.
